Burbank Empire Center is a 50-acre Commercial Retail Power Center located at Empire Avenue and the Interstate 5 Freeway. The Empire Center is the commercial retail element of the 100+ acre City of Burbank Redevelopment Agency plan for the revitalization and 'Brownsfield' reclamation of the old Lockeed Aircraft Facility. The project also boasts four different metal art pieces design by artist Peter Shire and coordinated through Hirsch & Associates, Inc.
